Artistic Practice & Vision

Rooted in collaboration, Angie’s photography explores the intersection of physicality and identity. Her background in visual arts, circus performance, and sport media production informs her approach, balancing technical precision with an intuitive sense of motion.

Whether documenting the grace of flow artists, the intensity of elite athletes, or the vibrancy of live performances, she seeks to freeze moments where discipline and artistry collide.

"I live in motion—a 4’11” circus acrobat and competitive flag football player, constantly defying expectations of scale and strength. My photography mirrors this kinetic life: a pursuit of the fleeting moments where bodies transcend limits, where tradition collides with rebellion, and where raw athleticism becomes art.

I don’t just capture movement—I understand it. The grit of a mid-air catch, the tremble of a musician’s hands, the unspoken trust between performers—this is my language. My camera acts as both witness and conspirator, transforming sweat and spontaneity into surreal narratives. Through layered edits, I amplify the hidden poetry in physical extremes: a weightless dancer becomes a constellation; a bloodied football jersey echoes ancient drapery.

My work thrives in collaboration with boundary-pushing artists—circus performers, experimental musicians, and athletes who treat their bodies as kinetic sculpture. Every image is a testament to resilience, a refusal to stay grounded.

Because the world tells small bodies to take up less space, I picked up a camera and shot back."
