Payment Terms

The client acknowledges that no reservation can be made prior to the signature of this contract (that will be sent to you via email) as well as payment of the initial deposit. The remaining balance for the photography services shall be due in full ( all fees subject to HST ) the day of the shoot. In the event that payment is not made in full by this deadline, the photographer reserves the right to hold on to photos until payment is provided, if payments are not made within one week the photographer reserves the right to terminate this contract, retain the initial deposit, and no longer be held liable for providing further services to the client.

Shooting and Edits

Always show up early, prior to shooting to set up or warm up. Late clients will not receive any additional time for shooting. 

Photos

The client will receive a dropbox link for photo selection. From that date, the client will have one month to return a selection of requested edits. The client will then receive final edits within one month via dropbox unless discussed prior to other arrangements. Raw images ( unedited photos ) will not be provided for any reason. Edited photos will be stored up to two months before termination at that point will no longer be accessed. Unedited photos will be stored up to one week after the selection has been made.

Agreement

By making a purchase on this website, I confirm I have read, understand, and agree to abide by the terms of this contract as they are listed above.

Booking and Cancellation


The client must pay a non-refundable deposit to secure their spot in a private or group shoot. The client may cancel at any time up to 14 days prior to shoot to have their deposit transferable to another shoot. To do so, clients must send a written cancellation notice via email. .The client shall pay the balance of the contract if news of cancellation is late due to the high probability that the Photographer will not be able to cancel any equipment booked or refund time spent surveying and planning. Any other arrangements shall be discussed between the Clients and the Photographer and put in writing.  

Client Liability

The client’s participation is completely voluntary, and the client freely accepts and fully assumes all responsibility for all risks, and all possibilities of personal injury, death or property damage, or loss.
 

I hereby give Scopo Photography permission to use my photos for portfolio and marketing purposes..

Photographer Liability

If Scopo cannot perform these terms due to a fire, casualty, strike, or other civil disturbances, Acts of God, including but not limited to, roadblocks, severe traffic, fire, pandemic closures, terrorism, protests, or other causes beyond the control of the parties, then the Photographer shall return any money paid by the Client, less retainer fee and expenses, but shall have no further liability with respect to the Agreement. This limitation of liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged, lost through camera malfunction, compact flash card malfunction, or otherwise lost or damaged without the fault on the part of the Photographer. The limit of liability for a partial loss of originals shall be a prorated amount of the exposures lost based on the percentage of the total number of originals.
