Bomb Squad isn’t just a women’s flag football team—it’s a family forged through fierce competition, shared memories, and a whole lot of fun. Since 2015, we’ve grown up together on the field, but what really keeps us coming back is the bond we’ve built off the field.
From the unwavering support of our peanut gallery and coach consultants, who cheer us on through every win and loss, to the epic themed parties and post-game Fireball shots, we’ve created a sisterhood that runs deep.
We play hard, and we celebrate even harder. Whether it’s hyping each other up before kickoff or toasting after the final whistle, we know how to keep the energy alive. At the end of the day, Bomb Squad is about more than just the game—it’s about the love, laughter, and loyalty that make us unstoppable.

Bomb Squad Captains
A huge shoutout to our amazing captains, the visionaries who run Bomb Squad with the dream of playing competitive football until we need walkers.
Chantelle Gangoso is the Defensive Captain and founder of the Vancity Vice women's team in Vancouver. She is more than her many athletic accolades, but the glue that connects players, bringing people together through her passion for the game.
Her leadership extends beyond Vancity Vice; she also serves as the Defensive Captain and Recruitment Captain for Bomb Squad 7-on-7 football, where she leverages her networking skills to strengthen the team.
Chantelle also proudly represented BC in our province's first appearance at the Senior Flag Football National Championships in 2022 with Team BC (BC Buds), in 2023 and recently in 2024 (EZ-E), as she celebrates her third year competing for her community.
Christine Westsol is a dynamic athlete with a background in basketball, where she shined in high school and college. On the football field, she's a powerhouse, having served as QB1 and MVP Receiver.
Christine leads the Bombsquad women’s 7-on-7 team to Division A victories and, over the years, has dominated every football league in Vancouver. Her talent hasn't gone unnoticed—she's been recruited to represent Team BC as a starter, known for her clutch performances in tough situations.
Based in Vancouver, Christine is now shaping the next generation, training her kindergarteners and coaching elementary school volleyball. But don’t be fooled by her nurturing side—on or off the field, Christine is a force to be reckoned with, and crossing her might just get you pranked!
Alyssa Dalman’s passion for football ignited when she watched her younger brother play, sparking a desire to join the sport herself.
She began her journey in women's flag football 2013, starting as a wide receiver before moving to halfback and eventually leading her team to compete in the A Division culminating in a league championship.
In addition to her on-field achievements, Alyssa is a dedicated organizer and competitor. She is on the board for TFBC and founded the Northwest Bowl, where she shows her unwavering commitment to empowering female athletes.
Currently, Alyssa is a quarterback for both 7's and 5's teams, where she leads and inspires athletes. Traveling with her football family brings her immense joy, and she takes pride in representing BC and Canada in her football journey.
